Stroke Stories

Understanding the stroke experience

Linda's Story

Linda is a single mum with two daughters aged 15 and 21. Linda's stroke occurred first thing in the morning just after she arrived at work and progressed slowly over a 24 hour period, resulting in a left-sided weakness.

Six months on, Linda describes her recovery journey so far.

She looks to the future with optimism and particularly looks forward to driving again and the pleasure of being able to give her youngest daughter a lift.
